Can't really see it in the photo, but here's what I did. I started with the classic "dogs playing poker" painting (obviously), removed the cards and liquor, and replaced them with puzzle pieces and lolly pops. That was all done digitally. I then printed it out and used mod podge to glue it to the puzzle piece. Had a lot of fun working on it!
If you click on the photo you can see a larger version and start looking for all the hidden puzzle pieces. The whole thing is a little unrealistic though. Dogs wouldn't do a cat puzzle.
